Russia’s Lenta can boost growth rate ‘17, makes no ’16 forecasts
MOSCOW, Jan 28 (PRIME) -- Russian retailer Lenta hopes to keep or raise expansion in 2017 but makes no revenue forecasts for 2016 because of consumer behavior unpredictability in the current circumstances, the company said in a statement Thursday.
“Looking into the future, Lenta expects to maintain its current or a higher growth rate in 2017 and further on,” the company said. “Taking into account the volatile behavior of consumers and the macroeconomic environment, the company will not give any revenue growth forecasts for 2016.”
In 2015, Lenta’s revenue rose 30.3% to 252.763 billion rubles.
